About Power Only Transport LLC

Power Only Transport is truly a “power only” transportation company based in Sioux Falls, moving new and used trailers throughout the United States for a variety of semi-trailer dealers, manufacturers, entertainment venues, and trailer distributers.

While Power Only Transport, LLC was formed in 2019, our history goes back much farther than that. Jim Keizer, our company founder, started in the transportation industry in the 1970’s when he borrowed a set of tools from his dad and began servicing transport refrigeration units from the back of his pickup truck as a one man show.

Over the years, he grew the business through hard work and dedication to his customers. Eventually this grew into a group of companies that included trailer and transport refrigeration dealerships. Realizing the needs of our customers, a trucking company was formed to help facilitate the moving of trailers from the manufacturing plants to the dealerships and customers. This has led to one of the largest power only trucking companies in the U.S. with an experienced team of drivers, logistic coordinators and support staff to get the job done safely.

  Power Only Transport has become one of the top "power only" companies in the United States totally due to its dedicated Management, Dispatch, Office, and Driver team.
  With close to 150 years of ownership, management/ dispatch/ driver/ accounting experience handling the day-to-day operations; we know how to get things done.

  Power Only Transport prides itself on top-of-the-line customer service given to everyone we do business with. This starts with our office personnel and goes through to our drivers. Our drivers are given top of the line Kenworth T-680 trucks, and other equipment necessary, to make their job more enjoyable which includes fewer breakdowns and quicker delivery of "your" trailers.

  While Jim has passed on, his legacy has been carried on through his son, Shane, and grandchildren who continue to live by Jim’s favorite quote- “It’s All About the People.” Our employees and customers truly are family. We all look forward to continued business with our present customers and new business with customers we haven’t had the privilege to meet yet, but look forward to.
